Michelle Rampelt has been assisting Buyers and Sellers for more than 10 years in the Vail Valley. Michelle brings invaluable experience in real estate sales, property management, and employs a “whatever-it-takes” approach throughout every transaction.
A graduate of University of Maryland with a degree in Journalism, Michelle has resided in the Vail Valley since 2001. She launched her career in ski-Industry sales, which included pioneering Under Armour’s mountain division in the resort areas, and working actively with 200 accounts throughout Colorado. This expanded her expertise in sales and formed hundreds of valuable relationships within the mountain community.
During the economic downturn, Michelle hedged her real estate business as a professional Homeowner’s Association (HOA) Manager. With most homes in the Vail Valley residing in an HOA Michelle has the knowledge to expertly navigate governing documents and finances of HOAs for her clients. As well, Michelle has a robust database of home-improvement and construction professionals having managed projects large and small from roof-replacement, to interior remodel.
Michelle’s passion for service is reflected in her 5 years as a Director on the Vail Board of Realtors Multiple-Listing Service. Michelle most recently chaired the MLS Technology Committee, putting new tools in the hands of Vail Realtors to better serve their clients.
Michelle also specializes in short-sale and distress-sale transactions and has been successful in helping multiple clients avert foreclosure, including those with multi-million dollar homes.
Following 6 years in the Slifer Vail Village Bridge Street location working with a top-producing real estate team, Michelle may now be found in Lionshead Village, or on the mountain hiking, biking, or skiing. She is happy to show you around the slopes or any community in the Vail Valley.
As a Realtor with Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate, Michelle is backed by the success and unsurpassed marketing reach of the largest producing real estate company in the Vail Valley. Michelle’s interests also include world travel, (most memorable, a medical service trip to Africa), studying Italian, running in the occasional race, wine-tasting, and reading.
